This is one of the things the Republican party needs to change...the public perception of them being racists. there are far more racists on the left than on the right.

The low information voter may perceive Republicans as being more racists, but that's a reflection of the mass liberal media, not reality. It was Ronald Reagan who gave amnesty to illegal aliens a couple of decades ago, and how did Mexican voters habits change? Not a bit.... Racism is not the root cause of why Mexican's who immigrant vote for Democrats, it's socialism, coupled with being fed a liberal diet both in Mexico and here that "Republicans bad, Democrats good" from mass media. Nothing will change that, as long as ignorance pervades. The reason people of Cuban descent vote Republican is because they have seen what happens when liberal socialism takes complete root and forms into full blown communism. What happens is Cuba today, total dictatorship, ruined economy, poverty and despair. Venezualians are heading down the socialist road big time, the ones who escaped and have come to America, see the despair Chavez has done to the once thriving middle class.

This is one of the things the Republican party needs to change...the public perception of them being racists. Man, you just don't get it. The GOP has little control over the way the public perceives them. Not through lack of trying and not through lack of support when it comes to conservative minorities. What little the low information voter gets is always seen through the filter of the liberal media. The only news programs that aren't either a propaganda outlet for the Obama administration or a news of omission mill are on FOX...... Combine the lapdog media with an education system that has been sabotaged by progressives for decades and after a few generations you have a nation of sheeple..........
