Military spending is one of the least stimulative things to spend money on . Which should be a consideration here.

Z,
I'd like to spend money building and fixing infrastructure, inspecting manufacturing plants, etc and not on tanks. Not sure why you seem to think that there's something hypocritical about wanting to create jobs but wanting those jobs to be in areas that actually help people instead of kill them.
I'm sure if you had it your way, those tank factories would be closed down and the people who used to work there would immediately be re-employed at a brand new factory that makes solar cells. If I had it my way, I would do the same.

But you and I know that this will never happen, because that's not how government works.

Like I said, government is very good at preserving the status quo. You try and cut spending anywhere, you get a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I pointed this out to you before, only to have you run behind Neil Armstrong as an example of how big government can accomplish anything.
