From the analyst's questions, it becomes clearer and clearer to me that a good imagination is something they lack. Herd thinking and herd mentality at its finest.

It's always darkest before the dawn...but is that light we see on the horizon?

W8 phones are an innovative and exciting option to the offerings of AAPL and Samsung and therefore provide the best opportunity for competing by providing a refreshingly differentiable and highly competitive product lineup.

NOK's W8 phones are only just now in their initial phase (in marketing terms, the trendsetter phase) having basically set the competition bar in the high end only with its Lumia 920. NOK is now initiating the second marketing phase with by introducing product across all other price points which now sets the stage for NOK to outperform going forward, especially in Q3 and Q4, once the baseline for all new products across all price points has been established.

NOK is now on the cusp of the third phase (the cool phase) of the marketing curve when NOK unit sales explode geometrically. APPL and Samsung, by comparison, may well have reached their maturity phases already, and. if so, are very vulnerable to competition from any refreshingly differentiable and highly competitive product lineup.

As is often the case, some shareholders continue to be blinded by the past and therefore are incapable of seeing the light on the "imminent" horizon.
