Darryl, I have not had the opportunity to use SysWiz myself - I
use a SUN workstation, with a real OS ;-) However, there have
been a couple posts in the past on this thread that indicate
very good experiences using SysWiz. One guy had encountered SysWiz
on a Toshiba laptop, and he found it very easy to use. Another
guy demo'ed SysWiz at Comdex, and also had praise for the product.
In addition, the Micron SysWiz survey showed that the product was
very well received by users, and very effective in solving problems.
As another indicator: every OEM that has signed up for a SysWiz
pilot program has ended up licensing it. I find it hard to believe
that HP, Micron, Packard Bell/NEC, Acer, and DELL are all missing
the boat on this. I also don't believe that the new COO, who is
very capable of running a $1B/year company, came to SYSF blind and
stupid. I think the only problem with SYSF right now is that a lot
of poorly informed investors are following the SYSF analysts like
lemmings into the drink. I guess time will tell. I'm looking forward
to the first week in March!
