Mike, what do you think MRVC is worth now? As we both know, MRVC stock spends some of its life trading at about half its real value. Obviously, the stock is worth more than 25, but that 25 gives a nice options strike base, no? Dan

Mike, I really wonder to what extent Nikos from UBS is in the loop on ASND. A few months ago he was the one that successfully put the end to ASND's attempted rally by putting out, in essence, a sell rating on the stock. The day and hour of that comment, assend was trading at a recent high, I believe around $55. I am sure that this recomendation and subsequent downdraft in the stock's price has probably created a little tension between Nikos and the Company. I was fortunate on Wed. to establish a small position in ASND and I exited on Fri. just before the stock went below $30. Nice two day profit in options. I too, am skeptical about the prospects of a deal between LU and ASND. What was, however, interesting to note on Friday, was that LU was also in rally mode. I think that if investors of LU believed that there was a deal immenent, they would have likely drove the stock down because the deal would be seen as dilutive to earnings by about 40 to 60 cents, according to UBS. Hence, part of the reason I took my profits and ran. Wayde.
