>> The answer to your question on Benghazi is CLEAR...the WH had NOTHING to do with this.....

What is CLEAR is the WH was neck-deep in it.

The State Dept was deeply involved in editing the memos, and it doesn't pass the smell test to suggest that the president didn't know what was going on there. Perhaps the most damning proof was his "adjustment" of his public message to accommodate the talking points.

While the IRS issue is embarrassing and is a result of an "attitude of intimidation" which starts with Obama, it is highly unlikely that the crime involved originated at the WH, and Republicans are just taking advantage of a most convenient opportunity with that.

But the real outrage ought to be over Benghazi and the AP bullshit. The IRS is a hot button with the public and so they're going with it. Benghazi is a president clearly LYING to the American public for political gain, to me a far more serious transgression.

The Benghazi lies are what we should be interested in. The lies are unforgivable.

Al,
the changes made by many people involved lasted three days
Doesn't this smell fishy to you, that so many people can make so many changes over so many days?

Whether the White House was directly involved or not, this is turning out to be quite an embarrassment for the Obama administration. After all, it was Obama and Hillary who said things that turned out not to be true. Meanwhile they have Jay Carney trying to throw every distraction he can think of, but the media isn't buying it.

So what is Obama going to do about it so that such embarrassments don't happen again? If the answer is "not much," then it is pretty clear that the buck isn't stopping with Obama at all, and that i-node is correct in pointing it out.
