Dear Wiseowl, On what national TV station were there reports of near riots? I was born and raised in Canada and have in 38 years never heard of a run on food in this country. Are you from here?

Please note that what was referred to was an organized group of people forcing their way into a restaurant to steal food. Fortunately several of them were arrested. It has nothing to do with lack of food, simply "activists" thinking they should get everything for free, ie food, clothes, lodging.... without lifting a finger.
