Justin,

1) Use the internet
2) Place market orders
3) Don't buy right at the opening, when volume is highest (you usually get
screwed buying at the opening anyway, because all that pent-up demand
drives up the price, which then falls the rest of the day.)

If you're still angry, just remind yourself how much you're saving on
commissions. For me, that makes it all worthwhile.

Justin

1) Use the internet,

Investors like me need fast connection. Time is money.

2) Place market orders

How long have you been in this business? Unless you're rookie
or out of mind, this is one of the most dangerous advice I've
ever heard in my life.

3) Don't buy right at the opening, when volume is highest (you usually get

This is the only advice I can agree with you.

No sir, unless you trade very very small $$$....., this is absurd.

Justin, All I can tell you is that you're rookie or you want to make
some money so much that you are amost out of mind. (Looking at your
profile, your other postings don't sound like you're rookie.)I don't
have any position in AMTD, I'm not short in AMTD either. I've been
with Aufhauser several years and I day trade mostly through net
companies over many years. AMTD has to stop getting new accounts
until they can take care current accounts. It's not a good sign that
they give terrible service and keep us on hold 20-30mins. Those 1-800
numbers are not cheap. It comes straight from your pocket. I don't
want to put you down or AMTD. I'm hoping AMTD guys read this forum
and improve it's service asap. Otherwise, most of us will move
accounts to some where else. If I were a share holder, I'd pay very
close attention to postings like mine because most web traders are
like me with large accounts and experienced over yrs. AMTD has
serious problems.

take care,

BPP(Bipin's partner)
