Have you heard of a simple hammer that costs $100 when the Pentagon buys it whereas that hammer costs only $5 at Home Depot. Govt does not have to hire people to do work that can be done at half the cost by private contractors is the best use of taxpayers money. You get all these lobbyists when things get centered around Congress and Washington. All govt should ensure that any profit that accrues benefits society in general You are in the minority like the Tea party folks. Obama is no Boehner. He has handled the extreme wing of his party very well by forging the forces from the middle very well. I am glad to see that in this area Obama is not a Bush. He kept his word as not being Blue or Red
