Have you heard how much Haliburton got for a hamburger in Iraq; or how much the private sector has ripped off in the war? Have you heard how much the prison population has risen in the last 10 years since they went private? But more importantly, you cannot use the pentagon as an example of a bad government program. The Pentagon's waste is the result of the military industrial complex in particular and the plutocrats in general buying the congress. We have a fundamental problem with the financing of our campaigns. We need public financing of campaigns or limited to small donations. The plutocrats have us by the neck and are bringing down our democracy. The poverty rate is near 50% and rising. We need to take back our government from the plutocrats and that will not be achieved by compromise. The 2010 election whereby the pubs gained so much power is proving to be very dangerous. Look how brazenly they go after every single dem, or endanger Obama's foreign policy. Expect that to continue for the next 8 years. The right wing is so very dangerous. The Republicans have stopped that for 50 years.
