Agree with you 100% and those who think they do [i.e. think they understand the entire business] are probably fooling themselves. I stick to the big picture: COMS #2 networker, has been very successful in the past. Some indigestion from buying USRX (perhaps a bit pricey), but strategically a good move as USRX gave them leadership on the consumer modem market which tied to their continued dominance in the PC ethernet card market makes for a very powerful strategic position in a rapidly growing market.

PS: as Lynch says one should be capable of explaining why one is long a stock with a simple understandable story. This is my story for COMS. [not claiming I am right, just my opinion]. I use the story approach to justify my shorts too. When the story changes I cover the short/sell the long.
