I don't disagree...but whose equipment and technolory is worldcom going to use....? their own..or are these mega companies going to use technologies and equipment from a vendor that can provice total solutions across the board...I don't understand why are you comparing Worldcom to Bay, Csco or Coms...? yes providors will consolidate...they have to...one stop shopping...( I used that TERM before....!) and these providors will want one stop shopping for their needs...What do you think when I use the term transparent...? that means as an end user you dont't need to know who you connect to..what kind of protocol you use, where you are, where you are going, what type of quality of service..etc .the MCI backbone is the most advanced backbone of Worldcom, and any other company they bought..(UUNET,..etc), Now MCI, Worldcom..have a lot of CSICO routers, they could not provide shit whitout those routers, MCI for one uses COMS Remote access solutions with USR modems..etc..so I don't know what you mean by their own equipment...yes it is theirs..and they bought it from someone...and taht someone is making a lot of money selling the stuff to worldcom..so where is the disconnect..? and per you previous post...? I don't make sense technicaly...I cahllenge you ..catch me....To ALL the people reading this stuff... GTW....what is it that make me sound like I don't understand the technolory...back up your claim...give specifics...and counter it.. I'll crucify your ass...( don't take it too personal I am actualluy smiling now) now go back and read some books...if you don't respond to my challenge you credibility looks pretty shaky to all this people on this thread.
