Most likely, it is related to 3COM reducing inventories, so this might shave a few cents off National's Q3(not including Cyrix).

Summing up the week, I think most of the news is positive. The low-end is strong as ever. Sold out? I don't know, but unlike past quarters in Cyrix's history they have some serious chip volume in the pipe, so I hope the reports of strength in demand are accurate for this segment.

The Dec. 15 Forbes has an interesting article about analysts. 29 out of 30 did not see the problems with Oxford Health. Is it possible that the majority of analysts currently following National do not yet understand the implications of the Cyrix acquisition?

YES!

Tuesday we will have some facts to back up the speculation.
