Nothing like that Dave. I'm saying if a guy makes, say, $10 an hour, the higher compensated should be trimmed down and bonuses and perks eliminated until he could get say, $12 an hour. Doesn't really sound that insane, does it? Start at the lowest compensated and go up until the squeals of the wealthy become overwhelming.

It would do wonders for the economy, since the guy would spend every dime of the extra $2.

No, Americans need to get paid more for the work they do. Its very simple. The wealthy have convinced Americans like you that if you get paid fairly, they will leave. Well I've got news for you all...........they have no loyalty to you or any other American. They will leave no matter what Americans get paid because that's who they are.......all their shareholders care about is the bottom line and the margins.
