Doug, I finallly got tired of wfr poor performance and sold my 2800 shares and a loss offsetting it with gains in ca. with the cash i bought some more amat which has performed excellent for me being up over 151% since I purchased it at $13.5 post split in oct. of last year. amat, IMHO, is the dna of technology since intc, mot, txn, etc, must have the largest semi equip maker.

Regards,

Paul V.

I picked up 5 of the Jan00 20 leaps for 4-1/2. Hopefully this will turn out to be the trade of the century! :o) If MEMC does not get above 24-1/2 before Jan 2000, I'm becoming a T-bill investor! Anyway, this market has been pretty ugly for most things Tech-related, however, it is offering some true bargins, with WFR and HTCH coming directly into mind. To a profitable New Year! (Glass raised high)
