Bob, I checked other companies and it took them about 2 years to figure out what kind of property they had, plus another 1/2 year for a feasibility study plus another 2-3 years for a mine. Diadem is running very slow right now. What Nickel in Quebec? 1% Ni+Cu is not very economical at today's prices. Have you heard of something I haven't? I'm not expecting anything this year, but I hope we get some big good news in spring of 1998.

Latest: I just called Diadem (Ron, Investor Relations) and I got a very lukewarm answer. The reason for the current wave of selling is most likely tax losses, plus Diadem's lack of cash is driving the stock down. Most likely Diadem will be doing a financing next year in January in the form of a rights issue (which may be tradeable). We also talked about other things. It is currently snowing in California (roads are closed till Spring). Results for recent magnetic surveys will be in a few weeks. Waseco reported lower cash cost to produce gold, but we still do not have a permit nor a dredge...again 1998. So in conclusion, I feel that 1998 will be a more exciting year and at $0.30, I will be accumulating.
