S&P REITERATES STRONG BUY OPINION ON SHARES OF APPLE
(S&P Capital IQ)

The U.S. International Trade Commission concludes AAPL violated a Samsung patent related to 3G
wireless, and announces a related a prohibition on the U.S. sales of certain older iPhones and iPads
from AT&T (T 36 ***). While we are surprised by this decision, we see limited impact due to AAPL's
ability to appeal, involvement of only T-related legacy devices that we think soon could be retired, and
even possible action by President Obama. We see announcements about new offerings coming within
a week, from AAPL's Worldwide Developers Conference starting Monday, June 10.

"Forming a base"? C'mon.

Sorry you didn't care for the story, Ryan. Gundiach is the guy that made the bearish call when
AAPL was way up there. Maybe he sees a base by looking at the last 3 month's chart:

What are you looking at?

No investment "forms a base" if earnings expectations continue to fall. The question is how will Apple profit $40/share in FY13 and $44 in FY14 (current analyst expectations).

Seems to me that going from $40 to $44 is NOT a fall in earnings expectations.

Seems to me that $400 is much more likely than $50 unless profit outlook changes drastically.

Yes, I agree, $50 doesn't seem likely.

R.B., are you still living in an era before technical analysis? And, no one, is saying T.A. is theee one and only thing.
