Would you say FACEBOOK is more or less of an exposure than phone calls, emails or text messages?

I can't tell you the peer pressure put on me get on FB. One guy accused me of falling behind technologically. People don't really understand the nature of the net and how exposed they are.

I have three different FB accounts and none of them are under my real name. I have made sure that my son understands that he should never put his real name out on the internet. He's actually not allowed to have facebook or instagram or any of the other social networking sites. And when he does, they won't be in his real name.

I probably only have the illusion of anonymity, but I am striving for as small of a virtual footprint as possible (under my real name).

This latest business with the NSA really drives that point home.
