You can pick up new 17 inch ones fairly cheap. One thing I would be weary of is where the other guy was surfing on his used computer. Since I know you most likely would not re-install the OS and programs, I would not trust a used machine. If you would re-install everything, then a used system would be fine. Check Ebay. Or your local buy and sell papers. You will most likely get IE 10 on a new PC.

kidl: If you haven't tried it yet bring your wife's laptop out on the patio and try it out. I'm not sure if that is what vireya was alluding to or not but trying to look at a computer screen outside in the sun is usually not easy on the eyes. Especially if you plan on doing it for a few hours or so. bruce
