Hi steve; At first I thought you were just a perma-bull on CPQ, but
having read more of your posts I now understand that you pull
income out of your CPQ position by selling covered calls. This
being a way of taking income out of your position.

I suppose you are doing this because you want to avoid the
capital gains associated with selling the stock itself. Best time
to sell covered calls would be at CPQ price peaks. Did you
sell some at the recent price peak?

Are you planning on selling covered calls after the 4Q97 or 1Q98
results are announced?

P.S. You are correct about your put position in CPQ being much
larger than mine. For the sake of the record, I only have 6
CPQPL puts. This is just play money, but I enjoy it. And much
apologies for confusing the issue of stock splits.
