This is the first time I've ever posted on SI. I bought CTYS some time ago and took a siginificant loss like most people on this thread. I've thought of buying in again thinking that the announcements associated with the most recent quarterly results put the company in a turnaround posture. However, I'm posting now because no one on this thread seems to be aware or have any comment with respect to the fact that CTYS issued a press release on Friday after the close of the market stating that the UK regulators were not prepared to permit the enforcement of rule of 78s-based penalties on CTYS UK loans. As a result, CTYS said its $15M UK reserve would likely be exhausted and that this development would have a material adverse effect on its earnings. CTYS 8-K is available on EDGR. Although this is clearly not a positive development, does anyone feel this is the final shoe dropping?
