I can understand how you "have no issue with it". You made the change and therefore you think it's great.... so much so you don't care that you have to click the link twice.

I think it's lousy if you're on an IPAD and feel fortunate that I can occasionally use the single click link at the bottom of the screen, when there's a short enough post.

I would suggest that the hover version would be great on half the link, from the MarksXX and leave a direct link accessible from the Subject segment of the word SubjectMarks.

Please understand I know the amount of work you guys are doing and I appreciate the effort. I just think every now and then you take a step backwards in terms of functionality and ease of use during your attempts to make everything "look pretty".

Dear Dmitry,

I have suggestion for a change. It is not new. It was suggested already few times. But let me explain why it may be important.

I use feature people marks. There are some posters that I value their opinion and I like to see/read what they have to say, but I do not care for subject those posts are posted in.

So every day I would click on 'PeopleMarks' and check up on those members :-)
Then later I will find subjects I don't care for, to be automatically added to my already too long 'SubjectMarks' list. Then I have to manually remove unwanted subjects just to see them day or two later appear again in my 'SubjectMarks' list. It can become irritating doing this over and over again.

My question/suggestion is, could you change code so I could in setting opt out of this automatic routine?

Thank you for consideration,
Mario

My people marks are evaporating. I had 495 this morning and they are now 491 despite the fact that I've added 3 today.

Since you made the drop down menu, and public recommends mandatory, my dog pooped on the living room carpet, and the brakes on my car are starting to squeal.

FYI and FWIW…As a member of the "if-it-ain't-broke-dont-fix it" school, I initially strongly opposed the new changes…Have to say, however, I now feel comfortable with…and have no problems with…new features...

Now that you've wrapped up this round of changes, suggest a new project for you..Include photos of posters as both Facebook and Twitter do…Could be interesting to see what some of our aliases look like…vbg

A small nuisance, nuance, whatever you want to call it. If you just posted a message and immediately go the new drop down Subjectmarks, the thread you've just written to appears as the TOP item in the box (with 1 "new" message appearing).

Is it fair to assume the purpose of the drop down is to show the user where the new posts of interest have been created? If this is the case, displaying #1 most important new updated thread shouldn't be what you've just created and, therefore should be suppressed.

If I just posted a message, I don't think I should be alerted to this fact and lose one the items from the drop down list.

What do you think?
