The decline of the middle class correlates perfectly with the decline of unions.

you have such a myopic view for a graduate of the university of MSLSD.
The decline of the US middle class also correlates perfectly with the rise of the middle class in much of the rest of the world. Do you prefer a world where a few million americans enjoy a unionized middle class life while billions of asians suffer in extreme poverty?

>> The decline of the middle class correlates perfectly with the decline of unions.

It also correlates [strongly] with the increase in the welfare state. It also correlates with the rise in the technological revolution (which is also covariant with the decline of unions). In fact, it correlates with the increase in the annual cost of union dues, and the real standards of living of the poor in America.

So, you arbitrarily pick one of hundreds of possible correlations to focus on?
