Wow, gold did do a sudden drop below my official sooth for 30 June. People do like a good panic.

Did you think that was a good case for Edward Snowden? He did maintain secrecy with Clapper, Cheney, Obama, the NSA et al for some time, so perhaps he could be charged with co-conspiracy to treason against They the People along with them. But as he said, he had thought that Obama brought hope and change so assumed the crimes would be stopped. Not so. So he correctly unsigned the illegal agreement and bailed out. Reporting the crimes to the criminals would of course not be helpful to him or They the People. So he fled from the land of the unfree and home of the crooks to, paradoxically, the land of the much more free despite being run by the leviathan Made in China lack of freedom.
