Ken, thanks. That was the first clear explanation of how to play an option spread I've read. And that kind of spread is called a "bull" spread right? If so, how is a "bear" spread done? I am woefully options-challenged.

*** OT ***
< LONG FEB25 @ 5 3/4 debit & SHORT FEB35 @ 3 1/2 credit. total position
is: 2 1/4 debit.

Now, I'm in great shape! My break even point is 27 1/4. I MAKE MONEY
if Iomega closes above this in FEB. My max profit is 10 points, max
loss is 2 1/4 points (my combined debit, if Iomega closes below 25).>

Ken, thanks for the option techniques info. I just started to look into the option; haven't start to write any yet. (I called the Chicage broad of Trade yesterday, and they will send me the booklet and video on option trade; I am look forward to see those material)

I am completely new in the option trade, as you can see the types of question I am asking below, Can you please explain:

1. LONG FEB25 @ 5 3/4 ---this means you bought the FEB25 @ 5 3/4 and hold them?

2. SHORT FEB35 @ 3 1/2 ---this means you sold the FEB35 @ 3 1/2 ?

3. For stock trading prices I go to such as Yahoo get QUOTE and get the price; but for option, such as IOM, where , which URL, should I go to get the price or is such a thing like "QUOTE" for stock?

4. Somebody told me once, each(1) call or put represents 100 shares of stock is this correct?

5. How much is a call or put ---such as FEB25: 5 3/4, is this mean you have to pay $5 3/4 for one call? plus the fee?

If you have time, please reply the above. Appreciated very much for your help.

Thank you in advance

Gilbert
