So, was RR the first Obama Republican? Well both had huge military budgets but Reagan grew his while Obama retained the status quo. Stock market and wealth disparity rose dramatically under both. Many similarities. But public sector and private sector jobs grew dramatically under Reagan while the former shrunk under Obama and the later has been anemic. Our jobs program today is the MIC while many left behind rely on handouts . Now calling Obama a socialist by the right wing is beyond ridiculous given the deck of cards he holds. I wish he could govern more from the left with massive jobs and infrastructure rebuild programs like FDR with welfare to work, protecting the working class more, raising taxes on the super rich more and gutting the bloated overreaching military,cause we really need it at this point..
