It's not going to happen here Koan. Being a dreamer is your choice, but getting annoyed with other people for being realists doesn't appeal to the realists. I think all of us here actually believe in the power of government. I work for the government, after all. I'm actually changing lives every year- and I think the government gets very very good value for their dollar with me, and I would pit my performance against any teacher any where at any school. I work endlessly for my students- all day long, at night, on weekends- was just contacted on Facebook this evening by a senior who graduated who wants me to write one of his Eagle Scout letters- and he wants it by Friday. So I am building society. And I am one of the last people you should be telling off, imo. Sure, I want to keep my house and family safe- but banding together with my neighbors to have a simple neighborhood watch group makes me neither a fascist nor a conservative. It makes me a practical person who gets along well with others. I want to repair systems. I work trying to get other people to want to do that. I suggest to you that you just turn people off. I actually agree with you, and you turn me off. Imagine what you do to people who don't agree with you.
