I'll tell you the real problem is that Americans don't believe it can happen here. They honestly believe we're immune from government workers doing bad things. It's a naivete that I think we'll all learn to regret deeply. Indeed, MM. Another huge issue for me is that it's not gvt workers with a strict chain of command to answer to that have access to our data. Thousands of contract workers without the fears of the fed workers have access to our data----it is they who I fear. Give me a fed worker who needs his job, needs the pension, does not float from one contract job to the next and I think I'd rest better at night....
