Lorne, Try being honest and tell a thread you are shorting, you will then understand why I have no email. After tellling the IPMCF thread I saw the possibility of a pre report run, and I would take that oppurtunity to short the stock I got several threatning and abusive e-mails. That is when I removed my address. I have nothing agaisnt Naxos, I just have a problem with "blue sky" predictions. Sure I will be wrong......eventually, but more often than not, these blue sky predictions don't materialize. Since I have no financial interest in NAXOF, yet, I will "wish" for a sky rocketing stock price for all of you, afterall, the higher it goes, the farther it may fall

Lorne Just a note on your thoughts. I have posted on this thread for over a year. I started by using my last name. I changed it for one reason, I received a few strange EMAils.

I do however have an EMAil address, yet I do not know what that will prove or not prove.

I do not feel that using an alias changesthe validity anything I choose to post.

Lorne, <<proper e-mail address>> Anybody that invests in a number of stocks and post to SI is foolish to post their email address. It's bad enough to be flamed in public than have poison-pen emails dilute their mailbox. Not providing an email also prevents the unsolicited hype. Posts never please everyone, there is someone almost always pissed off that would email, but not post. Also, the SI lurkers then get to "play" SI posting without joining. Email underground's are used to BS hype stocks that shake fools from their money. Public posting has the peer review that doesn't exist on the email "hype lines". Notice that Mark didn't answer Anne or my public question on "problems". I bet the underground emails know the "correct answer" and are just happy as pigs in ... Just because I use my actual name doesn't mean that I post honestly or dishonestly. I could be just as much a manipulator as Kitty for all you know. In fact, I really know where Kitty stands, which is more than I know about you or others. Having said that, SI should never be used as stock investment advise. The recent concern about Mark's absence shows me that there are longs here that should rethink their position. You can call me Richard, Rich, Dick, or Stupid, but don't believe a damn thing I say unless you can verify it, name, email, or not.

Lorne, you're teasing us, right? Human nature being
what it is, making that kind of post is just going to
evoke more drivel from us scoundrels! Actually, you
should be happy that this thread is attracting more
attention; more potential investors is it not?
Seriously though, don't let it get to you. Just hit the
"next" button when you see one of our posts. It's
impossible to run us off the thread (I think).

Boy, I thought the flurry of activity had to do with the anticipated post from Kim Brasington. Am I missing something, or do you go by Lorne "S.C."? I must agree with "Knight" on this one.

Lorne: You're out of line naming me in your recent post. As this is a very public forum, so what if I don't want to post my full name and show my e-mail address? Why the hell do you think people have unlisted phone numbers, for instance? It's because they want a certain measure of privacy. If someone calls you up, Lorne, but the call display feature on your phone indicates an unlisted number, do you refuse to pick up the phone? If someone has an unlisted phone number, does it make that person evil in some way?

Secondly, so what if there have been an inordinate amount of posts in the past few weeks. This is a free forum. Naxos has been getting more interest because of its Franklin Lake project. What, you think that a company that could possibly be sitting on the richest gold deposit in the world shouldn't attract interest? Get a life, Lorne. The IPM disaster finally made me decide to pay my membership dues so I could post and share my thoughts on the DD companies that I had invested in.... now that doesn't sound like a grassy-knoll conspiracy, now does it?

Thirdly, so what if there has been huge volume from posters who haven't been heard from before? Like, is it against the law for people to register for SI and start posting messages? Only existing members can post and no new members are allowed? New members can only post once in a while, whereas existing members can post to their hearts content? No new shareholders allowed, and only existing shareholders can buy the stock and post messages? Wake up and smell the coffee, Lorne.

Forth, on the issue of <<Most of these new posters provide nothing but disparaging questions, comments, and general negativity>>, I myself have been supportive of the DDs that I feel have good prospects (like Naxos and Maxam) , and the not supportive of the ones that I feel have done poorly (like IPM). Yes, we have some apparent shortseller and other negatives types like Hungrylion, but so what? Oh, do they hurt your feelings because they say bad things about your stocks? Oh poor you, Lorne, I feel so sorry for you...in other words, Lorne, grow up! This is a free forum and you're going to get the good, the bad and the ugly. This is what free speech is all about. Just as Hungylion whines about all the DDs being frauds, so you are whining in your own way...two whines don't make a right.

Lorne, like, I feel your pain that you have to read hundreds of posts...not!. I guess you don't go for free speech and all. Smarten up, Lorne, people are exercising their right to free speech, and people are going to say what they want. I used to read every IPM post, anticipating a good BD/Bateman signoff, and believe me there were a LOT of posts leading up to that fateful day. Ya, a lot of posts are not informative - like yours for instance, but so are most conversations you hear in any other public place like a bar or restaurant, or even a building elevator. But I for one would rather live in a society where people can express themselves freely instead on one where you, Lorne, could possibly dictate what others could and could not say.

I'm sorry that my post to you has been so harsh but I regarded your post as an unwarranted personal attack, which therefore required a response.
