Well, that wasn't exactly a "war".

It was more like a skirmish and the Iranians weren't exactly "armed to the teeth" at the time.

Iran has really beefed up their defenses near the Strait since then.

And, at the time they were concentrating 98% of their defenses against Iraq.

NOW they are concentrating 98% of their defense against Israel and the U.S.

They don't have to worry about Iraq anymore since Georgy Boy GAVE them Iraq as an ally.
