I didn't see it. I should speak for myself: I didn't think it was real.

The important point is that it is time we reconsidered the idea of 20 week abortions as being the barbaric practices they are. As a pro-choice person, essentially recognizing the practical need for abortion in some circumstances, the first trimester has been the cutoff in my mind for some time. However, as the illustration shows, even at 12 weeks, we're not talking about a disorganized cluster of cells as the pro abortionists would have people believe.

A baby has a 50% survival chance at less than 24 weeks, and by 26 weeks it is in the range of 90%. It is around 20 weeks where the probability of survival begins to increase from zero percent.

More importantly, we just don't "need" abortions anymore except in rare cases, which could be provided for. If a child aged 14 can walk into a drugstore and get after-the-fact birth control, it is time to become more reasonable about abortion. Yet, we have this woman in Texas still trying to push the limits of civilized behavior.

The inconsistency of late-term abortions with modern science is striking. It is time the Left moved away from barbarism and into this century.
