You've never read Augustine and neither has anyone else on this thread. Sure, I've read things that mention him and some of his themes, but that's it. And no, "men of science" don't study Augustine either and you wouldn't know it if they did. Only someone with a rich classical or theological education would have and that doesn't include you. You're just putting on a pretense of intellectual sophistication. Reminds me of koan and his existentialism.

It even gave ME a start--and I knew he was an idiot. This is the internet. This uneducated buffoon has just admitted that his entire mouth on this site is based on something other than personal education and knowledge?
