Michael, I don't recall you posting on this thread before. Welcone and shame on you for lurking for so long! As I recall, BelSouth paid a few nickels more than NXTL paid for its Brazil position but I'm still not clear on NXTL's licensing situation in Brazil. Apparently they're allowed to use the air waves in the same manner as they can in the U.S. Or can they? That's the $64 million dollar question that I'd like answered. Yes, I know that even if the Brazilian rules are still couldy on this point that in time they'll get corrected.

Thank you for the information on footprint. I am trying so hard to understand exactly what Nextel does and its so difficult for me. Peter Lynch says to invest in what you know, maybe I should have stuck with cocacola. At least I know what it is!!!!!
