outlook for 6 months on wdc,IMHO:

whoever posted here that people are waiting for the uptick on drive pricing and the alleviation of asian dumping to start buying wdc will contribute to a very quick snapback once the temporary problems are behind wdc.

most companies who have bad quarters tend to bury all bad news in tha quarter which is why wdc is lowering all expectations for the dec quarter. if its bad, they are writing it off, accruing losses and doing everything they can to make the problems a 1 quarter issue.

the slightest positive news on wdc pushes it to 25. then the sheep fund managers all buy in and start the upward movement. certainly 25 by mar 31, the summer gets us to 30

whoever posted that the finances for wdc may be grim?have you looked at their numbers. 200 mil in cash, no debt. research before you speak!

good luck to all

Wanna see something REALLY SCARY??? Check out the 6.4GB WDC at CDW:

cdw.com

$314 was $386 last week. I haven't called to verify, but it's been there for 4 or 5 days

Whose driving these price cuts?...
