Aaron,

Re. With MUSE he said you will see results but what you don't hear
discussed is the other half of the erectile dysfunction
equation, the woman....

Thanks for your informative post.

No woman needs undesired prostaglandins--pregnant or not.

Regards,
Ibexx

PS: Hope you had also posted this information on the VVUS thread. The folks over there aren't the most open-minded, I am sorry to say.

Aaron,

Your nitroglycerin story is hilarious.

However, doesn't anyone worry about hair growth (where it is not desired) anymore? Perhaps Rogaine would have another "off-label" use.

I look forward to your further postings on PFE and related topics.

Regards,
Ibexx

Aaron: you have already left me in the dust so to speak scientifically and medically. I have absolutely no training in medicine and will leave the answer to your question to others more qualified. My investing theory on VVUS is that demand, at least until Viagra hits the market is likely to continue to outstrip supply and that the stock price should appreciate for the next Q or two. At that time I will evaluate whether to sell my holdings in VVUS. I still worry that too much of PFEs current stock valuation is being supported by unrealistic expectations for Viagra and that any blip in the approval process would have nasty impacts on an already over-valued stock price, at least P/E-wise. Then we would have a WLA-type, 15 or 20% drop. I've been in PFE since '93 and have been amazed, but pleased, that people keep buying at these levels.

Good luck with all of our investments in the months ahead.

Dave

PS Don't be so hard on the VVUSers as it's hard to be open-minded when a company you thought you understood is tanking. I believe that over the short term VVUS is oversold but then I have the luxury of being in at a relatively cheap level.

Aaron,
Do you know if your speaker had ANY personal knowledge of these drugs? Especially with Viagra not even on the market many could be repeating what they have heard third hand or even from reps (of course before the NDA was filed, so they don't get into any trouble with FDA).
Briefly what is the source of the information relay at this meeting?
Jim
