What a disappointment.

I'm still pretty happy with the Elgato device using RCA cables. I'm pretty efficient at it now. Can even edit on the fly. They're not going to win any awards for the cuts and dissolves, but it's good enough for my intentions.

I'm getting to the point where I can see an end in sight to the tape transferring. There's about 12 tapes of weddings that I once thought I edit but have decided to just give the tapes to the couples and let them take the tapes to Costco or somewhere else to get them transferred.

Years ago I bought a Key Tronic KB101 plus keyboard off Ebay, the seller said in as is condition, I got it and the board was toast, all the keys were pushed in, I was bidding with a guy from Japan who was buying these for parts, I paid 50 bucks.

I complained to the seller, he said the auction was as is condition. I recycled the board at an electronics depot.
