Taking a page from the liberal playbook, we'll never really know what Trayvon might have done had someone not been keeping an eye on him.

What did Zim, the armed "neighborhood watchman" prevent? He prevented Martin from living to get home with his Skittles and tea!

If Zimmerman wasn't packing heat, he almost certainly would have stayed in his SUV. As he should have anyway.

Oh really? Why should he have stayed in his SUV? Wasn't this a public place? Isn't he a free citizen? How is he any different than any of the neighbors? Are they required to stay indoors when Trayvon is around to make sure that he doesn't ambush them? He got out of his car to find the street address. One thing that can be guaranteed is that once he got out of the car, he wasn't chasing Trayvon. He was a man of less than average height and he was overweight. He wouldn't be able to catch Trayvon even if George had a 50 yard head start. Once George got out of the vehicle, the only way that the two of them could possibly meet face to face is if Trayvon approached him.

CJ,
Unfortunately, all too much of the legislation that is promoted by the Right is ill-thought out, poorly written and actively harmful. And they can never man up to making a mistake.
