Inode, given the case that the prosecution presented against OJ, it would have been pretty hard to come up with a guilty verdict. That was a case of the prosecution not doing a good job of presenting the evidence.

In the case of Zimmerman, the prosecution didn't have much evidence to begin with, so they tried to make up for it with theatrics. I don't think the jury really bought into it. Best the prosecution could have hoped for was a lesser charge of manslaughter, but even then they couldn't meet the standard for conviction.

But really, if Zimmerman has to face double jeopardy, it won't be because of the quality of the evidence. Instead, it will be because of the seriousness of the charge.
