Their world has to be painted in simple comic book colors or their heads explode, LOL. This is just another iteration of a familiar pattern. Turning their righteousness into personal attacks is just par for the course too. Good riddance.

And even though I did not agree with the verdict - as little as I know about the case - I would love to hear the rationalizations from people that think the guy is innocent. That is healthy discussion. Otherwise it no longer is a a discussion but a contest of us vrs. them. I would have loved to hear what Tom meant about this statement; What is it about a strong social organizer that bothers you? What the heck is a "strong social organizer"?

If Zim had just left his gun in his vehicle, no one would have died. If he'd identified himself as neighborhood watch, no one would have died. If he'd shown his gun, walked up to Martin with his gun out, no one would have died. Perhaps let the gun nuts walk around with their guns, but make it illegal for them to be concealed? Make them wear them exposed. Then, you'd at least know who to avoid. Martin would probably be alive.
