I would cut the MIC budget and put the savings into a massive effort (like we had gearing up for WW2) towards alternative energy. It would incorporate job training, research, manufacturing and maintenance. Secondly, i would throw GMO foods out the window and start a national effort to teach everyone how to grow organically. I would ban private insurance on just about everything, especially medical. It's called self reliance and personal responsibility. I'm surprised the right wing avoids it like the plague.
