Greetings Jane , my sister in Christ. You will recall I tried twice last week to contact you via e-mail,but to no avail, since your e-mail server was not operative. I believe I have some treasures for you that if listened to and heard, would definitely warrant a different response from what you have stated today in your responses. If what I am hearing from you is correct Jane regarding the re-institution of the Old Covenant, this borders on blasphemy, and is an insult to the Spirit of Grace, through whom we as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ have been brought into an eternal relationship with Almighty God, through His Son, Jesus the Christ. The Old Covenant is null and void , made so by God Himself, and has been transcended by the New Covenant, through whom Jesus Christ is forever our High Priest, and whom only the Eternal Father will recognize as such. Jane you cant agree with alan and myself regarding, the true Israel of God and the Covenants, thats called sitting on the fence. I appreciate you and your input as my sister to this thread but I must state again, failure to understand who the " Israel of God " is causes all types of error and false teachings which contradict the Word of God. May The Spirit of The Lord Most High grant you grace to see the truths hidden in His Word, but visible to the seeking heart. Robert

Jane it is good as always to read your post. Oy Vey this is intense. Believe it or not there is a term for the differences between Robert, Emile and Alan and myself. They believe what is called Covenant Amillenialism wow what a name. What this means is that they belive all of Gods promises of the future Messianic Kingdom are fulfilled now in the spirit world. I don't know about you but my hopes of the Messianic Kingdom of Jesus is a whole lot different than this. UGH11111111111 The reason for this theology is to take the promises to Israel and apply them to the Church exclusively. I belive the Church has the full entitlement of the Jewish blessings but I do not believe they have them exclusively. What really perplexes me is who would want to serve a God that would make all these promises knowing that they would fail and then dump them for that failing. Do they not think this could happen to them as well.Oh, I forgot they are able to do anything they want because there is no law or Old Testament except for Deuteronomy 28. This seems to be the only lasting verses in the Old Testament. There are many other reason why I do not choose to follow this type of teaching and I will address those later. Alan and I tend to be more Dispensationalist with an Israeology bonus. In James 1:26-27 we see that the Lord is more interested in us helping orphans and widows than all this arguing. The Israel now theology has facilitated a huge anti-semetic movement that I believe will bring about the final disaster and return of the Messsiah. Rev 7 is an excellent proof of God separating the tribes of Israel in future context or is that now, where are they? There are many flaws like this in there doctrine. Your thoughts on being flexible are right on. The Lord says for us to reason the scriptures together in peace and respect(like capitalizing names, alan ). The protection we need for this is diligent study of the word of God and doing His will to experience Him more completely. I hope you had a peaceful and restful day, Nancy
