Have you seen this new agreement with Rockwell? How would you evaluate it?

Hi s and Don (a friend from voclf),

In europe I understand they are working in each country with other
partner like Lucent in Holland. Same in South America. In Brasil it is
one of the biggest local telecom equipment marketing company.

I think Siemens thru Star VC are only invested in Ulracom,at the second round ,along with France Telecom and others.

See the press release from Siemens and Motorola(two weeks ago) going together to the Cable business so you can understand that Ultracom (Orckit has 25% after second round) cable modems will have Siemens
market.Orckit will make money from selling chip sets to these cable modems.
About the retail distributor I understant it like this:
You have two sides to the ADSL hardware. The telecom central office
which Fujitsu is selling to in U.S. and the home side which you and
me will buy the ADSL modems or cards at COMPUSA and others. For this
home market they are going to sign a distribution agreement with one
of the biggest in the market, that Tamir said, covers also Europe.

BEST REGARDS,

Shlomi.
