The time it takes to move between screens at ANTD is 5 min or more! I'm using Nav. 3.03. For example going from "equity order" to "account positions" took 6 min. timed on Friday. Anyone else having this problem?

The only way to be sure this is an AMTD problem is to try other sites. I've been seeing a LOT of lost packets on the internet over the last two to three weeks. Anytime you click a link and just sit waiting for a response, you probably encountered a network problem, not one with the targeted site. To verify this, start a new browser (or bookmark your current location so you can get back), and try to connect to your own service provider. If they're fast, try some other location you use which usually gives good response. If they are ok, but AMTD is still not responding quickly, AMTD may be the culprit.

Generally, it's better to hit "STOP" and try again rather than wait and wait for a response.

Netscape and MSIE both hangup sometimes waiting for graphics during busy times on the net. You might try disabling your "pictures and sounds" in the options menu and see if the screen comes in quicker (hopefully your order entry buttons show up). I do it for my Datek trades and when bidding in some online auctions, just to give me an edge in response time and especially during internet bog-downs. When I use the old eBroker last year, the lags from the fill times were horrible. I sure hope that has improved for you folks!
