Ship based oil processing plant was never ever built whether gas or liquid.
The scale of economics is simply huge and not worth it and no one in their right mind will put up a land based mobile plant in a small reserve and move the plant around as a GTL .

Current ONGC plant indeed was a test plant for RNTK but now it is a very much a working plant and it is bigger than what BP can produce now at a cost of 400 million dollars.(75 bbl per day) Based on that RNTK says they can now design plants with capacity up to 5000 bbl per day.

RNTK ONGC will produce 180 bb per day and the capacity can increase as they expand the facility.
It is is the first ever kind of plant based on iron catalytic conversion.

Life expectancy in prime is 3o years I was told and can last longer but I am sure new tech will come along by then.
The plant which was shipped was probably in the region of 5- 7 million
USD, as it is a small plant and went as a second hand unit.We can find this out tomorrow but its irrelevant, since RNTK is not in the business of selling plants.

Good luck with AIPN, as I worked on the Libiyas Great Man Made River Project a three phase at 14 billion dollars (in 1985 dollar), just put an irrigation pipeline for 1,500 KMs. I hope AIPN can come up with at least 1/2 of the Libiyan money to lay down the infrastructure, same with AKSEF.

Now tell us about your next project ;-)
