my understanding is she only raised him till the age of 3......when she divorced the birth father who took custody. He was raised from 3 to 15 by his stepmother..........then when his birth father divorced the step mother, Trayvon got thrown back to the birth mother. His behavior deteriorated dramatically (in two years) after returning to the birth mother until she threw him out. I believe the step mother was purposely kept out of all proceedings................seems clear why. yeah, birth mother is all torn up about her son getting killed, but he wasn't so important to her that she would raise him during his formative years. And then she gets him back and dumps him again. Bitch is worse than Sharpton and Jackson combined. Pimping her own dead son out for those race hustlers when she can't be bothered to raise him. She didn't know her own son, she should be dismissed at every level.

If the apple supposedly doesn’t fall far from the tree, Trayvon Martin’s father Tracy has been pruning his tree of his past to make sure his son’s image isn’t tarnished by it. Photos have emerged of Tracy Martin after his son’s death in which there is a tattoo on the side of his neck with an undefinable word; a later photo shows that tattoo was erased, replaced by a tattoo with two hands clasped in prayer. Other photos show Martin alternatively posing with a group that brandished the Crips gang finger signs or stood with a different group in front of raining dollar bills; both pictures featured Martin making a hand sign that The Conservative Tree House says are gang-related. breitbart.com
