Demographics must be really different now as the charts show E. Palo Alto is now nearly two thirds hispanic. Wonder if the charts break down the poverty classifications by race.

I believe Ravenswood is now a separate Unified school district which covers all of E. Palo Alto. Over the years I have seen the transformation of the school that is located right by University Avenue leading to the Dumbarton bridge. Their playground which had tall grass growing all over with discarded soda cans, plastic sheets etc. now has a very clean playground, a baseball batting cage etc. etc. Maybe they got that idea from a school ground our troops built in Iraq for the Iraqi children. :)
