Ironic thing is the existential lifestyle Koan speaks of today is quite expensive relative to the 1960's when you didn't have to be in the rat race and keeping up with the Jones's like today. It is built today on debt and overconsumption for most in places like the Bay Area. You'd think low cost red areas would be breeding grounds for what Koan speaks of eventually?

I can name many examples. An existential group is any social group living without a traditional myth or script.

If you live your life without traditional instruction, but instead according too how you have figured out life in the present, you are living an existential life. It is very common among liberals. My entire family lives existential lives.

None of us follows any myth or script. We all make it up as we go.

We also see ourselves simply as members of the human species living on planet earth. We claim no tribe or race or dogma.

Existential life styles are happening everywhere. Even if people do not know what an existential life style is. The 60's was the line of demarcation. People are increasingly living without myth and script.

Well, it should be easy to name one example of that then.

You would pretty much need to include all of us atheists, confirmed and trending, in that group, no?
