Look up the Quantum fund.
I can't believe you were giving advice on AMD and Intel.

The first I heard of George Soros was in 1992 when he was proudly claiming credit for breaking the English Pound and making a billion dollars doing so.

The first I heard about the Koch brothers was around the time that Obama became president. They seemed to be the liberal response to the connection being made between George Soros and the progressives.

I had never heard of Alinsky until Obama came around either. Of course, this doesn't mean that the progressive politicians hadn't heard of him. As we now know, most progressive politicians are quite familiar with his works.

The first I heard of Koch bros was when they bought the town I grew up in and spent millions cleaning up the environmental mess the previous owners left behind. Didn't make the news though.

First I heard of the Koch Brothers was that they were sponsoring almost every PBS show I watched, NOVA, Frontline, Masterpiece Theatre, Live from Lincoln Center, etc., etc...

It was later I found out they were the biggest philanthropists in America next to Gates, with their contributions to medical research, the arts, education, etc...

Weiner campaign paid private eye $45,000 to investigate own 2011 Twitter ‘hacking’ lie, reports show

The ‘hacking’ never happened — Weiner later admitted to sending the racy pics himself — but his furious attempt at damage control included an expensive investigation by T&M Protection services.

In 2011, the Weiner campaign paid an investigations firm nearly $45,000 who had "hacked" the congressman's Twitter account and sent out racy photos, but it turned out the perp was Anthony Weiner himself.

Serial sexter Anthony Weiner paid a private eye nearly $45,000 in campaign cash to investigate his lie that a hacker posted a crotch shot on his Twitter feed, campaign spending records show.

Weiner’s brazen attempt to cover his tracks occurred shortly after Memorial Day weekend in 2011, when his first sexting scandal erupted and he went into furious spin control trying to save his career in Congress.

He maintained that he had been victimized — and promised an investigation to get to the bottom of how it happened.

“They’ll be looking into whether someone had my password,” he told CNN.

For some strange reason the Koch Bros love NY society. I am not sure why. However, the last time they showed up for a NY society event, they got booed. I guess they may be losing interest these days.

>> They have their fingers in just about everything on the Right.

This is a total crock.

Koch Brothers are fundamentally libertarian. But they recognize that under the two-party system as it stands today, no libertarian has a snowball's chance of getting elected to a position of power.

But, if you're a liberal nutjob, anyone who isn't looks like some kind of right wing extremist, so your criticism, erroneous though it may be, is to be expected.
