Re: "Short lived"

Actually Pat, my last post was written in haste while my wife and kid were waiting in the car for me so we could go get a "living tree". However, after re-reading , I wish I could re-edtit, but alas, my 15 minute window is long gone! Not only were there typos -it was a confusing post. So, to clarify; the "short lived" technology I was referring to is the "bonded" line technique which was recently announced as doubling the 56k barrier using 2 conventional lines and a "double" modem (as I understand it). To me THIS would be the interim technology while the individual users wait for the telcos to get off their butts with ADSL. And as we know they're not going to sit by idley and watch the cable vendors scoop their turf. What may be the cause of the confusion is that I may be wrong in assuming that this would be a DSP solution.

With regard to next week: IMHO With much of the foreign turmoil swept under the carpet, we should see a continuation of the (overall) market rally. But,I'm inclined to think we'll see a return of interest in undervalued small stocks (GO SPECTRUM) as the recent large cap tech sector may need to take a breather.
Oh well, young minds need entertainment -time to decorate the new "living tree".

Best regards
