The root of the problem is the government. The solution is a free market.

No, it has to be balanced otherwise as few corporations/trusts (ala what happened to us in our Robber Baron stage 1880-1910) wind up owning everything and then make the rules--which results in a non-free market.

A freer market perhaps--yes. The tension in our society is over how much govt. is too much or too little, and that is a debate worth having.
